Peacefully at Oxford Hospital on Wednesday, June 17th, 2026, after a brief illness, aged 95.
Loving wife of the late Brian, Loving mother and mother-in-law of Kerry, Lindsay and Wendy, and Jan.
Loving grandma/Nana of Eula and Kelly, Gloria and Luc, Kimberley and Ben, Caleb, and Holly.
Loving great grandma of Audrey, Nina, Elliot, Jack, and Marley. Loved daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend to many.
A special thanks to the staff at Christchurch and Oxford Hospitals who cared for her in her last days. A life well lived that touched many.
A private burial has been held.
A celebration of Val’s life will be held at Beckenham Methodist Church, 83 Malcolm Ave, Christchurch on Saturday June 27th at 10:30am.
